Although I agree it still does concern me. There is motion in the objection and the premier could consider the image impact of the saudis on the premier league.

Having said that money talks and the premier league needs a pick me up. The financial impact of covid-19 is still to be seen but it has to be negative so what better way to prop up the league financially than to have the wealthiest fund involved.

With all the brands associated with the pif. The over seas exposure is just going to make the premier league audience significantly bigger. Which means more money. More opportunities for advertisements. For sky. For by sport. For amazon. And Bein sports? Not sure why they are objecting if I am honest!

If the PL wants to play politics then all the Saudi's have to do is approach the Government. After all, they share intelligence with the UK relating to international terrorism and are one of our biggest trading partners. Qatar is a source of middle eastern terrorist sponsorship apparently....

Can you imagine the atmosphere if Ashley and Bruce are still here next season? That would be worth the ticket money.

The implications of the prem blocking this are severe. I really do pray the people claiming the prem already passed it are correct, however I fail to see any reason it wouldnt have been announced . Fingers crossed.

I'm clueless about law, but surely the buying and selling side have worked a plan around that?

Guess who owns Bein sports. A Qatar based group. Who does Qatar border. You guessed it. Saudi Arabia. This conflict that Bein sports has is totally political. Bein would hate the fact that we are being bought because it may have a negative affect on them.

Amnesty are involved because they have an obligation to do what is right. Fair enough you may say. But if you look at the owners of premier league football clubs! See next post!

I'm sure none of that matters.. the only thing is whether they're guilty of a crime which in this case is piracy .. without a conviction I assume it wont matter?

Qatar should just **** right off. PSG's owners will be pissed because they are no longer able to compete.

Nearly Every one of the owners has some connection to something dodgy. Delias is cooking.

Seriously though when you look at it the list is basically the worlds richest criminals.

It is not about right and wrong what is currently happening. It’s total jealousy!

Bein sports is a convern ... thats a big customer in terms of money. whether people want to accept it or not..There is problem here.
