You can imagine the Saudis driving a hard bargain. There's messing people around and there's taking on the Royal Family of an oil rich state. It would be brilliant if it transpires that Ashley sold the club for less than 300 million.

If it happens as we have been told, with £100s millions immediately invested in infrastructure and squad... It wont have lost it's edge. MA, Charnley out, Sports Direct signs removed, ambition being shown. People keep saying we've been waiting 13 years since showing ambition. It's been 15. The last reasonably ambitious (if misguided) year was 2005 when we signed Owen, Luque, Emre, Parker and brought Solano home.

I know, but in all honesty the longer I wait the more I'm sure the 1st feeling of ecstasy will be relief.

Don't care. If someone has to be cut up into small bits to enable us to win something.. so be it. I'm in, balls deep!

No one got Ashley out, he chose to leave when it suited him. He's had us over a barrel for 13 years, I will not allow those ****ing fan groups to claim a victory here. <laugh>

Agreed. What we have to remember here is what has happened has happened. Are they trying to clean up their act. Maybe. Does it mean we are rich beyond our wildest dreams. Yes. But it’s the opportunity that presents itself here.

They want to clean up their act. They want to do good. If this takeover creates another new 10-20k jobs in Newcastle at the same time as making us fans happy at the same time as them sorting their **** out at the same time as regenerating Newcastle. Why object.

The reason why we are the United Kingdom is because we where ****ing ruthless back in the day. They say Rome wasn’t built in a day. Well guess what it wasn’t.

Any clubs owned by Chinese owners. **** them they started corona virus.

Any Germans.... **** them they started world wars 1 & 2.

Italian? Seriously they did the same.

Russia.... yada yada.

Every country on earth has done **** things. Look at the United States and Donald (hitler) trump.......

Our takeover is a bid to create a world wide asset no more and no less. Let’s not kid ourselves where the money comes from who gives a .....

I would liken this situation to the 1st time you get dumped and spend days lying around praying for that message or phone call that you are hoping for... it sucks, but if they do text you know your getting your cock sucked that night

Not to stress the Captain out or anything, but has anyone seen what’s just happened to the global oil price?

Our prospective owners might be worth a few quid less than they were this morning.
