MOTD "Experts"

This, Colin Murray hasn't played the game, but he is clearly just a big of a football - that's why I like him!

He has been picked by the BBC because he managed to make half time during Chanel 5 Euro games entertaining...They're trying to make MOTD a bit more Top Gear-esque in its accessibility and I personally think Colin Murray is the perfect choice - Much prefer MOTD 2 to 1!

I'd be all for making it more accessible and Top Gear-esque, but dear Tioté no more Colin Murray.

dont mind them hating us its just they have no knowlage of any teams outside the big 6
they tried to do a segment on cabaye and basicaly gave up and just said he had a good shot
and again yesterday he had nothing to say about demba ba's goals just basically said what was happening

Colin Murrays more bearable since we sold Barton, but he's still awful. Bring back Adrian Chiles! There's something good about the knowledgable fan who supports his small club rather than 'I support Liverpool because they were big in Ireland in the 80's' Colin Murray.

Well tonight we have a special Manure feature to look forward too, what with there just being one game today to show. Of course they could have shown extended highlights of all yesterdays games but no ... Man U feature. The excitement is killing me ...!

I think we're agreed that Pundits overall need to do more homework on football. I think this was proven last year when our very own Sir Alan Shearer said nobody really knew too much about Ben Arfa, when clearly people did- he was a very big name in France before he came to the Toon.

The same can be said for Merse' on Soccer Saturday. As much as I love the show, (I wouldn't watch if Jeff Stelling was to leave) he's purely there for comedic reasons, the fact he struggles to pronounce basic foreign names sums it all up (even the hard ones don't take 2 minutes to learn!). I also hate how Liverpool and Thompson get their own little section on the show.

In general Pundits are biased towards the upper half of the table because they're told to and are paid very handsomely for it. Afterall, it is where the majority of the big action is coming from to be fair.

Lineker and Hansen are good(ish). Dixon, Shearer, Murray and Lawro are all boring and don't know what they are talking about. Shearer has to be the most boring pundit ever. Lawro and Dixon are both incredibly biased as well as being boring. Murray is a **** who doesn't know the slightest thing about football. Could be worse though it could be ITV, Chiles and Southgate I couldn't come up with anything worse if I tried!

Cheers! It was the 21st not that I celebrate them anymore. Sort of lose their appeal after a certain age, if you know what I mean! I used to get pissed on my birthday to have a good time, now I do it to forget!

Today we've been watching the cycling on Eurosport, (congrats to Mark Cavendish, new world champion) they are running a trailer advertising a new football show being presented by Arsene Wenger and Rafael Benitez, I will be watching, not sure if it will be a success, but it will be interesting.
