Personally I don’t understand the mindset and the feelings but know it doesn’t affect me or anyone I know in the slightest. You look back 20-30 years and the same comments were made about homosexuality. Live and let live.

I think it's important to note that being gay or changing gender does not equate to being a *****phile.

I was just trying to understand how someone (anyone) would pose a threat to children in school and if changing room gets mentioned that's the obvious thing.

In the last 5 or so years it’s swaying back the other way. Violent crimes are on the rise against the lgbt community. Why can’t I have straight pride!!!! Come on we’ve all heard someone say it, the ****ing clueless mindfuckary involved for that is truly unbelievable.

I have 4 gay relatives .
All of their friends are not but they are great !
It does exist I agree but I dont really here it much !

I'd just like to add that in primary schools that I've worked in there's no hard and fast rule. In some schools you have enough male and female staff to oversee them. In other schools one member of staff just has to wait for the girls, or shout through the door to get a move on or usually use the girl who's changed first to go in and tell them to hurry the fck up. I've seen it's pretty much the same thing in secondary. You don't go in. Fck that, I wouldn't want to go in!

The only exception has been in special schools where you're dealing with challenging issues and needs must. But then you're NEVER on your own. You'd be nuts to do that. As teachers you're told you're not just safeguarding children but safeguarding yourself as well against accusation.
