Is there any wonder why a third of the victims are of the ethnic society? not forgetting we do have many from ethnic background doing a stirling job working in hospitals/shops,etc who have sadly lost their lives
A bad day an extremely talented footballer, who could mix it when it was a contact sport. Will be sadly missed.
R.I.P. Norman. Btw, seen this on FB. Never seen Norman look so young! please log in to view this image
This also from FB .... Great story about Norman Hunter told by Tommy Doherty when I worked with him. As the Manchester United coach pulled into Elland Rd it, stopped, and before anyone could get off Norman got on went straight up to Denis Law and handed him a piece of paper. Never said a word just got back off. In the dressing room Doherty said to Law "what was the piece of paper" Law said " the tea menu for the L. G. I". Absolute class

"When he sustained an injury at Leeds, Revie's right-hand man Les Cocker was informed "Hunter has broken a leg". The coach replied: "Whose is it?"
I've reported a number of them. Fair play to the BBC - they've now deleted loads of them. Hours too late, right enough.
Bristol City fan here in peace....Leeds were my glory hunting team back in the 70s....could & still can, name every player and position from those glory years...Norman Hunter, defo one of the greats...Fortunate for us, he played his later days with us, keeping BCFC in the then old first division.. Was also fortunate to be part of his coaching sessions that he held at Ashton Gate for amateur clubs that used City's facilities, so managed to have several chats with the great man...And that's what he was....a great player and true gentleman..RIP Norman, very sad loss..
Watched Norman in every season he was with us. He was a fine footballer and hard as nails on the pitch. RIP Sir you gave me the four best years watching Bristol City never forgotten
I just don't bother going onto sites for that very reason that there will be stuff said that'll be insensitive.
