    Unnecessary through Watford. Can you imagine if I had posted something about people dying this thread would have gone into meltdown?

    My daughter was born in the West Mid, 20 years ago (surely some mistake). A few hours after she was born she got the BCG jab specifically because Southall was/is a TB hotspot. Even though we lived in Teddington at that time.....

    I’m sure Turkish can learn to take it given how quickly he dishes it out but this is really a Politics thread topic now.

    I heard on radio this morning a doctor saying one reason BAME deaths were higher is many of the different races immune systems develop differently according to prevalent diseases in their areas of the world. It can make them much more resilient to local diseases such as Malaria but conversely weakens their resistance to other diseases. It underlines the difficulty in a 'one size fits all' treatment...

    I think he's got me on ignore too. Dont blame him to be fair. I try to ignore myself a lot of the time. It does remind me of when Boris would only let the 'friendly' media in. Nobody to question otherwise.

    Yeah I gathered that much........never answered when questioned anyway so no loss really. But I shall continue to question or call out anyone who I disagree with.....as others can do with me.

    847 hospitalised deaths announced. How long before this lag from lockdown becomes effective within the death rates?

    bob, this is the problem I have with this. 'But the Romanians that flew in have experience in the job and have done this before'. Have they been checked etc etc etc. Sorry if I sound like I come from China. Why are they not in lock down like the rest of us?

    From the BBC;

    "In another development on Friday, the English Football League, which consists of the three divisions below the Premier League, says it is planning to stream every remaining game live once the season restarts.

    Matches are likely to be played without crowds when the season is allowed to resume, EFL chairman Rick Parry warned."

    Guessing season ticket holders will not be happy about this. Will be very strange watching a game with no background noise.

    Nigsy, I agree. Why can't we employ from within? I am only repeating what the farmer said.

    Presumably this has been done at great expense. Not his fault if he can’t get the staff. These lads will be working in all weathers for a modest wage and living in a glorified campsite. Good luck to them.
