We do it every week. I find it quite uplifting seeing all the neighbours, giving them a wave, sometimes having a chat. We’re all going through this mad time. Don’t think the young couple next door appreciate it as their kids are both under 2 and probably get woken up by the clapping and cheering. I don’t cheer BTW.

I like seeing the people on our road. I actually know what half the folk around us look like now. The ppl next door on our right never come out but it's cool, their choice I guess. They're a nice enough family whenever I've spoken to them.

 

Wife’s cousin in Paris has been woken up from his coma and now breathing independently. Looks like he’ll pull through after given almost no chance of surviving.

 

I saw a report that implied that the generation who had the BCG vaccination at school had a stronger antibody resistance to flu type viruses
I have never had the flu virus nor has my wife and we both had the BCG vaccination during the 50s and 60s
There is no proof bu the majority of deaths appear to be in the generation before the vaccinations and the generation after they were stopped
For the younger ones on here the BCG was a vaccination you had around 11 yrs old to prevent tuberculosis

 

I noticed the little uns were out in force really enjoying the unusual moment when neighbours are actually coming together as one...... Sh, it like that stick around my neck of the woods and in stills a feeling of together stronger from a young age, twas the miners strike that made me aware even when you're on your fking knees people generosity and caring nature comes through and gives you faith alls not yet lost with humanity.

 

The BCG vaccination only lasts for around 15 years mate.

Good shout. BCG is very effective in being used as a carrier for other medications given in hospitals as well as in cancer treatments iirc.

 

In SA they’re saying that could be the reason why the death toll is surprisingly low.

 

I think I just missed out on it by a year or two.

 

I've had one seemed mandatory and took thy words it was for my benefit......who knows, certainly the nurse didn't who's job it was not too question just inject the peasant kids.

BCG is still a thing... or it was when I was at school. You had a test which was five needles in one and then the actual bcg as long as you didn’t react to the test
