Still don’t get it. Why would a supposed multi Billionaire set of owners need to take a transfer of the loan?

**** knows, maybe the Saudi’s are not involved, there’s no indication that they are. I’d imagine that slag is taking control and she’ll engineer a way to flip it to one of her Arab contacts...?

Where’s that equity split from?

Staveley isn’t a Billionaire btw, not even close either.

been reported for months , but most people just laughed it off. I knew it was real when neither of the 4 parties denied it and a reliable journalist who poured cold water in previous deals went all in on it.

I think her husband is , but neither of them rich enough to do it alone.

not done , but could be soon .. once money starts changing hands its all in place barring a last minute change of heart.

The Saudis are definitely involved. They see it as a PR job.

Doesn’t seem to be any trail of paperwork linking to Saudi ‘PIF’ as Sky Sports News are reporting.

Perhaps there’s some housework to do before the Saudi’s muddy their name with relations involving Sports Direct’s owner.

from the original source ie the telegraph

The main funding for this bid was once again said to be from the PIF, which is the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, with Amanda Staveley and the Reuben brothers also having a small minority stake of 10% each.

Problem for Newcastle is location..no superstar baller wants to live there in his prime

It will become a retirement home for yesterday’s stars...at best

everton have a Sigurdsson for sale. Wonder where he will be headed....

can see a right mess, up with Everton in the transfer market. Benefit being that Everton has some high profile sales to offset the FFP mess the scattergun buying caused.

So Ashley is loaning the consortium £150m to finance the deal, which he will get back in instalments. This sounds similar to the recent Charlton takeover. I hope it’s more successful?

150 million he getting plus a deal in place for the 150 debt nufc had to ashley.

nufc are the richest club in the world by around 300 billion once the checks are complete, so im pretty sure the days of survival will be over.

Please look at the recent Charlton takeover, it’s depressingly similar. We were bought by a consortium which the major shareholder was supposedly a Saudi investment fund, headed up by an billionaire. It hasn’t quite worked out like that!
