I find Bloomberg a total mindfuck at times. They'll interview one guy who will say one thing and then interview the next guy who says completely the opposite.

You've even got Goldman Sachs saying two weeks ago that the US markets would fall 20% below the March 23rd low and then after the market goes up 10% in a week, having already been 15% up from March 23rd, they say that actually it's time to buy in (so they were 45% out!).

This is true. And CNBC. I guess the truth is that in world finance not everyone agrees - hence some will win and some will lose.

I had a great post for it as well. It was sure to boost the numbers. I’d apologise but the sorry should really be coming from brb.

Spurly was being a sly old fox, he admitted as much a few days ago, I came across the comment and added his to my page collection. Not bad so far, shut down Sucky's to create this and rob Spurly blind. And to add to the fun, Chief has a melt-down.

Are the trains running on time today <whistle>

Small firm doing an extension across from mine, couple of builders singing along to the radio and a skip wagon pulled in to exchange. That might seem like **** all to many on here but on this sunny day it’s given me a nice little lift.

Matthew would be livid obviously, at the thought of a builder working on a week day afternoon.

The police and railway staff must have just been blown away by being in my company on Sunday so much that they ended up letting me do what the **** I wanted.

All staff have been told (except TPE, as said) to not go through the train and pass on the virus, but to report what they see as 'Non-key journeys' to security staff and police. As you rightly say, the police can't be arsed. The system relies on the good sense of the passengers to abide by the spirit of it, and you've also exposed the flaw in that approach.

The point is, as plenty others have commented, that this is now politics thread part 2.

Just a blur of stats blaming the government and/or trump for everything.

If you can't see it, fine.

<ok>

Have to disagree ... it's a discussion about how the virus situation is being managed by the government and the relevant experts involved - very different.

That it also involves how other countries are managing the crisis doesn't make it political. <ok>

Interesting to note you cited seat percentages as opposed to the percentage of party votes. The Pro-Unionist parties won 55% of the votes in Scotland, however competed with one another. All of those pro-unionist parties are English originated parties.

Thems the facts Petal.

What percentage of that 55% is Ex Pat English and what percent is moon howling loyalist ****pigs?
Correct. Seems nothing has changed when the vote is still 55-45...

From memory, which isn’t very good. I think the SNP took something like 45% of the overall vote in Scotland and the Conservatives took just over 20%. Some of the margins are very close and could easily change back over. Aldo is just trying to make it look way better with his 80% figures.

Do you reckon he knows there’s a lockdown yet?

I've had nothing of the sort you bonehead.

You're just being completely hypocritical in going against your own original stance, which was to keep the political tit for tat out of this thread where possible.

Nor am I crying about anything ffs.

The Police could be arsed, though. They were stopping everybody at Glasgow and questioning them.

I know he is, he's incredibly disingenuous. Despite every single figure, consistently, proving him wrong he always states "the rain in spain is certainly making indyref2 more likely" or whatever such nonsense.

But this was more directed towards the usual xenophobic buffoons and their constant desire to flag wave. Soon he'll start dropping his usual "<laugh> e med ye luuk lyk a reet beffooon" nonsense and **** off.
