Blanket doesn't mean fair.

Death for all crimes is fair? It's as blanket as you get.

Do you actually read what you write?

**** me ... a person can lead a donkey to water but it aint your fault if he's too stupid to drink.

To help you out...

The "person" are the other posters
The "donkey" is you

If all competitions are finished then no need. If the season is null and void then yes.

Now my question - how do you propose we finish all competitions? I've only ever seen you posting about completing the PL.

As the situation improves games will be able to be played behind closed doors. At some point games will be played with crowds again. Perhaps capacity gradually inreases, or only home fans. But I have zero expectation that the medical advice on crowds will have any correlation at all with the start of a new season. So maybe part of this season is behind closed doors, maybe all of it, maybe part of next season too.

IMO anyone expecting a clean break where on August 8 (or another day) we start a brand new season with the same schedule as previous seasons and stadia at 100% and everything is just "normal" are living in a dream world. The old way of life is finished.

**** response as usual.

Just admit your entire view is based on making sure Liverpool win the title. We all know that’s the case anyway...

Spoiler alert, Liverpool are winning "next season" too.

“The old way of life is finished.”

Bit dramatic that...

I (mostly) mean in terms of football. On the positive side I hope it will be a catalyst for good changes as well as difficulties.

It is a complex issue that's for sure.

How do you play the remaining home and away games in the Champions League and Europa League involving travel to and from different countries?

Just worked out final league standings using the duckworth-lewis system used in cricket.
Crystal Palace won the league with 4 wickets remaining.

During WW2 Crystal Palace fielded 186 different guest players rather than give up. An inspiration to us all.
