Has there ever been a worse commentator than this twat? He has the dullest voice ever.

And his Monday Night Football analysis, ****ing hell. Its a joke.

At least Andy Gray had some personality about him, yeh fair enough he was a sexist/liverpool loving twat. But he's a better commentator than Gary.

Wish Sky would pick someone like Kevin Keegan, or maybe even David Seamen.

They'd be quality commentators I reckon. That wouldnt have irritating biased.

fail

actualy i thought he was very good on MNF, he was un bias, knowledgeable and not as up his own arse as gray

Yeah, I agree.
I couldn't stand Gary Neville (the player), but I've been very surprised how well he's done so far as a pundit. He doesn't come across as the snarling, weasel faced little twerp, that he did as a player. He also seems very unbiased and quite knowledgeable.
This is the first time of noticed him doing commentary (QPR v Villa). Seems OK. He hasn't got the velvet radio voice, but I prefer it to boring Alan Smith's dulcet tones.

Gary Neville's an excellent pundit, one of the best theres been on Sky Sports in a while, shame he's a **** though. I'd rather watch Just Bieber on there than Keegan, he's got the football knowledge of a cabbage.

Can't believe the stick the fans give Keegan. He's a club legend, we wouldn't be where we are today without him.

I'd like to know the ages of these people. As a twenty something he's a managerial legend. To anyone older he's a playing legend. Even 4 years ago despite being 'out of touch' and out of football for years he got Martins, Owen and Viduka playing as one of the best attacking units I'd seen in ages at SJP. He's got issues with Ashley as many have, but whatever he says or does he'll always be a legend here.

Ditto Shearer, how dare he be neutral on MOTD...

I feel strange saying it because as a person I think he's total pleb, but I have actually been impressed with Neville as a pundit. He's a million times better than Redknapp, Smith etc. I think people are clinging on to the hatred of him as a player, rather than observing him as a pundit. Smith I can't stand.

This I can only presume it's the younger fans who were not around in the dark days before he saved us from going down to the old second division and turned us into title contenders within 3 seasons.

what about Neil Sika?

Nobody can compare to the legend that is NS!!

Seriously though I think Gary Neville is doing well. Surprisingly unbiased in his views, even criticised ex-teamate Rio Ferdinand for playing too much football in defence rather than clearing it today (responding to a comment that Anton does it as well).

His voice isn't the best for media but that is hardly his fault and he can undertake vocal coaching. Rather listen to him than 99% of the other planks doing his job.

Credit where it's due he's actually a decent commentator. What I do dislike is 'Monday Night Football' or 'MNF' trying to bring something back to life even though it's cheesy, very awkward and had it's day. Wish they'd just scrap it. I liked Redknapp too he seems to know what he's talking about!
