To be fair when I first saw it switching to politics it was Archers starting it off... as usual!

Custard has just been posting random memes mainly, though he does trigger some serious rage from certain people.

There’s a lot of people incapable of not rising to the bait!

His memes aren’t even spelt right most of the time, I just don’t get why they get such a reaction...

Where have I mentioned politics?

Oh that's right, nowhere. I was talking to Saffy about trains. I didn't even mention privatisation of the railway ffs.

I meant the meme you posted (yesterday maybe? Or the day before?), which was the first sign of this thread going back to politics. Wasn’t specifically getting into [HASHTAG]#dogtraingate[/HASHTAG]

Some politics is relevant. Not sure how anyone started talking about Starmer and Jimmy Savile though. It’s inevitable politics relevant to Coronavirus will get discussed. Don’t see why some posters start crying about it every time.

Yeah his post wasn’t about coronavirus it was just the standard anti Tory stuff.

It was an obviously topical joke. If that’s the post on this forum that really gets to you then that’s on you.

<laugh> Nothing got to me, I’ve not be involved in the politics chat over the last couple of days. After Archers post it was descending into the usual nonsense where no-one is capable of real discussion and I stopped reading the thread. Checked back in and the likes of Custard was getting the blame so thought I’d point out the moment I’d noticed the thread direction change.

Cheer up <cheers>

I posted that because I thought it was funny.

Okay, funny and also tragically accurate. Still, didn't think anyone would take offence. Forgot how touchy all these right wing snowflakes can be.

To be fair no-one took offence. Not sure why yourself and @West WindsR are getting so worked up by me pointing it out. I was just adding some balance to the notion that it was just Custard or the more right wing thinkers making it political!

Wasn’t trying to create any beef!
