So your favourite songs ever ever not just the ones you like a bit.
At least 5 if you can't think of 10 but nothing in-between.

5 would be easy enough 10 takes some thought.****ing hell, where do we even start?

That's why it's the best ever ever, songs you can play at anytime and just love them. The problem is that, to some extent, it depends on mood and also where you are in life, not to mention the genre you are most drawn to ... for me it would be guitar based music but I'm also a big Reggae fan, loved the synthesizer music of the 80s and even enjoy rap, hip hop, blues and classical music.
I'm the opposite I would prob need to whack in 50 minimum as things change and songs that where formerly my favourite no longer are .5 would be easy enough 10 takes some thought.
Never heard any of those@Chief you won't be surprised to know I already have a playlist.

UK Surf is the key, the original is bang average.Good list it is too!
I'd definitely have a Pixies one on there, not necessarily Wave of Mutilation though.
A Certain Romance is Arctics best, I'd agree.
There must be some that stick though? I agree with your thoughts but there's always those that stick.I'm the opposite I would prob need to whack in 50 minimum as things change and songs that where formerly my favourite no longer are .

I like Iron and Wine the Conner they do of Cyndi Lauper Time After Time is superb.Mine will likely seem old and boring to you younguns ... so I'm going to base it on what I currently go to on You Tube when I've had a few... but in no particular order...
Prince - Purple Rain
Beach Boys - God Only Knows
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear The Reaper
Rolling Sones - Paint It Black
Roy Orbison - The Comedians
Eagles - Last Resort
Don Henley - Boys of Summer
U2 - I will Follow
Iron & Wine - Flightless Bird
Good list. I'll have a listen to a few of those I haven't heard.TBH it would all be hip hop but I’ve just mixed it up for the purpose of this thread. Top 4 are completely non-negotiable.
