    Yeh, twice now.

Doubt ill do it a 3rd time tbh. Not for a few years maybe.

I redone Oz recently, and the wire again before that.

I could watch oz and the wire again anytime, very good shows.

I’ve watched Breaking Bad twice, Band Of Brothers about 10 times... can’t think of any others I’ve watched twice.

Nearly finished Ballers... I’d give it 5/10.

3 discs iirc. FF8 was four discs I think.

FF7 was indeed possibly the best game ever. Just replayed it whilst on lock-down (the original) but not got a PS4 so I'll wait a year for the remake. Well I'll probably wait 18-24 months and get it on offer :) I'm a cheapskate me.

    First thoughts on FF7 remake:

Good combat system, some classic elements given a revamp for faster combat.

Great cut scenes and pure nostalgia feels.

It’s kept the Materia system which I loved from the original but gone for some changes to weapons with an upgrade system in place which gives more choice of development, a bit like the sphere system in ff10.

Story is basically following what happens in FF7 but they’ve made it far more in depth. More character development for some of the side characters, more layers to the missions, more thought about the fact you’re part of a terrorist organisation. The story is also very relevant in this day and age given it focuses around how humans treat the planet.

There is probably a similar amount of time spent playing as there is watching cut scenes, it’s a bit like playing a part in a film or tv series.

Absolutely loving it so far - if you’re a final fantasy fan it’s definitely worth it.
