Oh dear :emoticon-0136-giggl

The EU is stumbling through this crisis as it has done through previous ones like the migration and the financial crises. The bloc is not about to disintegrate but scars will remain in countries that felt the chilly absence of EU solidarity in their hour of coronavirus need.

"This has not been our finest moment," a diplomat from an influential EU country told me. "Our response has come late and has been marred by nationalism. Solidarity went out the window with the first coronavirus victim."

The diplomat spoke of France and Germany's initial refusal to export medical protective equipment, meaning Italy was forced to beg for some.

He complained of the damage done to the whole of the single market as EU countries shut borders with one another in an attempt to protect themselves from the spread of the virus.

Then there's the recent ugly and very public debate about coronavirus debt-sharing. Spain and Italy demanded it, in the forms of coronabonds. Wealthier, cautious Germany and the Netherlands gave a flat no.

Again, each country prioritised national concerns over the EU as a whole. Understandable, but hardly a poster child for European cohesion.
Germany are taking in patients from. Other EU countries ??

You also need to take into consideration the loan deals in the lower leagues. My own club has something like 6-7 loan deals (I think we have more loan deals than we are allowed to put in our match day squad?) and these players will be going back to parent clubs before June. If you add that to yearly contracts, it affects something like 12-14 of out 1st team squad in total. I know most who support PL teams probably don’t care, but this model is common in the lower leagues and will add huge costly complexities to clubs that survive on small budgets.

Not most mate, just fanboys like Astro.

In his words "that's your problem". All that matters is Liverpool's problem and fck everyone else.

It’s ****ing undeniable that Astro is prioritising the tainted trophy over people’s lives now, he’s absolutely desperate for any finish to the season which sees the bindippers ‘crowned’ Champions*. The bloke is lower than a snake’s belly, utterly desperate to see his tragic vermin club lift the trophy that’s eluded them for so long, to the point where he’s champion*ing playing games on a Subbuteo pitch just to get it finished.

Needs locked up TBPH.

It will be the most worthless League title ever that's for sure !

I'm saving lives. You, Tobes, etc. are the ones who want people piling into stadia.

People won't be going the match as normal for about 18 months. Get over it.

Nope, the league must be finished otherwise it's financially untenable. Voiding the season is voiding many clubs' existence. This clip is linked to whether people will enjoy watching PL games behind closed doors.

I think Tobes and many others on here have lost touch with the game. The vast majority of fans don't get to go in person, let alone have a season ticket. Season ticket holders are the 1% taking their privilege for granted.

Lower league clubs won't be able to afford putting on matches behind closed doors long term.

It's not all about Liverpool, or the Premier League.

Lower league clubs aren't trying to pack 50,000+ people into a stadium though.

At the moment lower league clubs only still exist because of money from the PL (better sharing of money needs to be fixed but that's for the future).

Cancel the PL = bankrupt the PL = bankrupt the football pyramid.

But some bitter people would rather see football end than Liverpool lift a trophy they undoubtably deserve. Sad, selfish, and cruel on non-players who depend on football for a living.
