Saw the BBC had an interview with Italian PM Conte, who repeated his lines towards the EU that I read just over a week or so ago. He was far sterner in his previous interview in which he stated the EU would "lose its reason for being" if it didn't aid Italy. He reportedly had an argument with Merkel in a group call with EU leaders.

Now the Netherlands are blocking their request for financial support with great fervour.

This and the Hungary situation are going to have political repercussions for the bloc, interesting times ahead.

If any of these mods try to ban you Jasper I'm organising a general strike.

Far too nice for this place Jasper, breath of fresh air.

Possible treatment:

Plasma transfusion from people who have recovered from the virus

https://www.pnas.org/content/early/2020/04/02/2004168117

"Three cases discharged while seven cases in much improved status and ready for discharge in CP treatment group, as compared to three deaths, six cases in stabilized status, and one case in improvement in the control group"

In other news a french trial of hydroxychloroquinie had been halted early due to the number of patients who ended up with heart problems.

Seems to me the first option is where the focus should be until a vaccine exists, recovered patients donating anti-bodies to fight the virus.

Even if your job isn’t essential you’re still allowed to go to work! Provided you can social distance of course.

Oh sound that's a great idea.... So stay at home if you can afford to.....

Anyway talking about social distances...if I spend all day with my dog on local mountains with not another soul insight..... I should be free to do so without police questioning yeah.

Very grey area's here... Rushed in acts are definitely not laws

don't know why there is so much fuss about folk walking around in open spaces personally .

Don’t shoot the messenger, that’s the current guidelines. If you can maintain social distancing and can’t work from home you’re still allowed to go to work. To be fair if everyone stops going to work it’ll be an even greater shock to the economy than it already is!

I’m terms of being with your dog, if you’ve got empty countryside on your doorstep I wouldn’t worry about the police trying to stop you. The focus seems to mainly be on people driving out to the countryside or people congregating in parks. If the police have got time to be tracking down solo walkers up in the mountains they’ve clearly got too much time on their hands!
