I can't accept your apology for eating Cod. Sorry but I can't.I think I'm going to be baking some fish - think I only have some cod loin in the freezer (apologies for c word).
Defrost it, then bake in a dusting of flour, a little salt and a blob of butter.
Served with air fried chips and, controversially, contemplating petit pois instead of mushy.
Harsh times.

DIY Chippy Curry Sauce
1 Chopped Carrot
1/2 Chopped Onion
2 Medium Potatoes
2 Chicken Stock Cubes
600ml Water
1 Beef Stock Pot
1 1/2 Tablespoon Curry Powder (mild, med or hot)
Boil the veg with the stock cubes in the water then add the stock pot & curry powder. Boil a bit more, then blitz.
Chippy Curry Sauce ... allegedly.
