I have taken this virus seriously since day 1 and have been adhering to the rules since they were introduced. However, yesterday was a little surreal listening to the guys wife telling us he’s been put in an induced coma and ventilated. All this being done whilst she wasn’t even allowed to be with him. Due to the social distancing rules, even that was torment as it would have been nice to put an arm round her and tell her it will be OK.
I would love for HIAG to visit her and explain its only the flu.

I quoted from the previous page, before seeing this, please excuse my silliness. Hope he gets through it.

And Hiag, just go away.

People who know me on here, will know I very rarely say something like that.

I have a bit of Universal credit news.
All recovery of overpayments is being suspended for three months, so everyone will get full award even if they have been overpaid in the past.

This probably ties in with what someone else said about knowing someone being moved to front line UC roles, the information I have is 10,000 staff have been redeployed to help assess universal credit.

What should happen is he should be made to name everybody that attended and then all should be made to do one month community service pushing stretchers around hospitals (a fine would be pointless with people like this), that way they might actually see what they may be causing.
Not sure pushing stretchers around hospitals did much for Jimmy Saville attitude tbh

My auntie who’s the matriarch of our family and is an absolute legend, has got it. It’ll break me if we lose her to this, as I love the bones of the woman.

Best wishes to your auntie mate.

Two of my friends, one late 50s, one late 60s - might even be 70 - have had the virus and are now almost fully recovered, so the prognosis may not be too bad even for older people.
