What should happen is he should be made to name everybody that attended and then all should be made to do one month community service pushing stretchers around hospitals (a fine would be pointless with people like this), that way they might actually see what they may be causing.

Without wanting to upset anyone, this latest Trump episode is extraordinary. Jumbled words. Even she’s said “what the **** is he talking about?”

Found out last night my next door neighbour has been admitted to hospital and put on a ventilator. The guy is a London cabby and had been trying to continue to work a few hours a day, up until he went down with the virus around a week ago. I’m going to make an assumption that some of his passengers may have tried to avoid public transport, so used a cab instead?

I have taken this virus seriously since day 1 and have been adhering to the rules since they were introduced. However, yesterday was a little surreal listening to the guys wife telling us he’s been put in an induced coma and ventilated. All this being done whilst she wasn’t even allowed to be with him. Due to the social distancing rules, even that was torment as it would have been nice to put an arm round her and tell her it will be OK.
I would love for HIAG to visit her and explain its only the flu.

Sorry just saw the tag. It's really difficult finding out what is going on here. That number of funerals in March is higher by nearly 1300 than the monthly average but the government is reporting only ~200 deaths to date. Jakarta buried 400 bodies using Covid-19 protocol (wrapped in plastic sheets rather the muslin cloth) but apparently only 96 people have died from Covid-19 here. They are testing only about 2000 people per day which in a country of 250million people is ridiculously low. hardly surprising the figure for confirmed cases is low.

Unfortunately the central government aren't providing any formal instructions on what companies and individuals should do, just advice, so most of the international companies are on home working but the informal sector (the motorcycle taxis, the food stalls etc) are all still working as there is nobody going to support them if they stop. Mosques have all stopped people going for prayers there. Its funny listening to the call to prayer and nobody wandering down the road with their prayer mats in hand.

Think we could well end up having a major issue here, but will probably only know about it by the traffic jams outside the cemeteries.

We are on our 3rd week of home working now but every one apart from the drivers and the sample processors are able to continue work. Will probably even get the latter working next week as I doubt Coronavirus will want to be anywhere near the chemicals they are using.
