Im just ranting mate.... A/ A neighbour opposite had a go at another neighbour for having a visitor deliver some shopping....moaned that she should be social distancing.....same **** is now sitting on his lawn with his wife and a glass of Wine, talking to the other neighbours like it’s a ****ing garden party. B/ ****s on social media who are outraged that people dare to go to the park on their own and social distance to good effect.....calling for a complete lockdown, fines and grassing on people. Self same people also think it’s ok to go shopping for essential items..which to them include beer, crisps and ****ing chocolate bars..... As I say...I’m just ranting.
Yes. All we now need to do is survive long enough for the losses to be made up and enjoy the pensions for a few years at least.
This and LinkedIn, which is not really social media in the totally passive way that I use it, are the only social media things I look at. It’s probably good for my mental health, Especially as I have a couple of the most twattish posters on here on ignore, although LinkedIn has perked up as my little brother has chosen it as the platform to launch a savage and bewildering attack on Jamie Oliver, which Oliver’s ‘minions’ are responding to. Great fun (little brother is a thing in media, has a profile, and thinks Oliver is taking the piss with his cooking in the crisis programmes for which he is paid large sums of money given that he laid off an entire workforce recently).
In any virtual game you can't replicate the sense of injustice when a biased ref awards everything against your team which does everything right except score and then concede in the last minute to a penalty that should never have been given
I used to enjoy Facebook but recently all it has become is people sharing **** of their favourite gigs/beach/cars/pets etc to ‘spread joy (it really doesn’t ‘cos it just shows your self indulgence’ or people calling for neighbours to grass on each other.......
Mate here is a much better place.......mostly good debates. Just Facebook and Twitter that are boiling my piss
Myself also. Here and LinkedIn (for business use) I'm not.on Facebook as I'm not really that interested in what some **** from school is doing right now and if I need to contact someone I bloody ring them. Twitter, I dont even understand all this # ****. Social media is just not for me. I feign interest when the wife tells me that Jean from across the road has just checked in to Nandos!
I live near an old railway station, abandoned decades ago, it leads to a lovely country walk. Just witnessed a group of over 10 people, in their hiking gear strolling up it. Youngest looked about 70.
Same here, Not606 is the only place I post anything. I'm on LinkedIn but only ho and look at it every couple of weeks. I'm on Twitter, have retweeted something twice in about 5 years. It's pretty useful on match days though for following tee game, and a couple of people show videos of the goals from their QPR+ pass, which is nice!
I'm glad I didn't imagine that it's been dull, grey and cool. Still it could be worse. We haven't had a flood in Yorkshire for at least two weeks now
Multiple Choice: This behaviour is: A) criminal and will lead to death of most of the population B) the inalienable right of a freeborn Briton. Live free or die! C) just ****ing ignorant and selfish, and will give the bastards who want to tell us what to do all the time rather than persuade us with argument and evidence, the perfect excuse.
