The greedy ****s should give up whatever % allows all staff at the club to be paid 100% without the need for government help and allows the club to survive. Then pay tax on their wages, then donate a % to the lower and non-league clubs to help survival and after that they can do their charity donations!

Don’t just donate 20k to charity and expect the employees and clubs to suffer while you think you’ll get good publicity.

Some absolute prick players, and clubs being total twats going along with it and furloughing staff.

Don't say that mate it took Henderson a full 50 mins sat on the crapper to come up with that.

The people's champion <ok>

What you have to remember is that most of these twats on anything between £10k and £400k per week are making a considerable amount more in image rights and advertising etc.
How much does any one person need to survive a week?

I think the PFA have said players are willing to take the cut but they don’t want the cut going into shareholder pockets, or on exorbitant transfer fees. They want it to go to NHS/Charities etc. I think that’s fair enough.

They should be given the opportunity to decide themselves how to help the country, and not necessarily our country. Some players from African countries for example should be able to help their own people.

The owners employ the non-playing staff, they should be paying them 100% of their salary, without exception. If smaller clubs need help then the FA should be deducting this proportionately from bigger clubs (ie United/City are deducted more than Norwich or Burnley) over the next 5-10 years to support the lower leagues (with the exception of Leeds & Blackpool obvs).

Whilst I agree with most of this, that last sentence is where it all falls down. When has the FA ever helped smaller clubs?

Never. Football is the most capitalist thing on planet earth, if you can't swim you sink, and if you paddle for your life they'll deduct points and force you below the water themselves.

What a load of pish, you're trying too hard mate <ok>

Rose thinks it’s bizzare that the country are making commentary on players not doing their bit while football clubs across the pyramid struggle and make ****ish decisions. Dickhead.

See now, why we want shot of him?

Pretty much. When Saints went bust in The Championship, FA chairman Brian Mawhinney gleefully informed the club that the 10 point deduction would be applied at the end of the season should they avoid the bottom three, effectively ensuring we got relegated anyway. Or, should we be relegated in May, which we were, the deduction would be carried over to our first season in League One. That seemed particularly vindictive.

Was it Rupert Lowe who ****ed the club? I never worked out who was to blame. He’s certainly a ****wit.

Its what happened to Bolton too, they survived the doors being shut but the new owners are doomed to immediately lose millions of pounds as they faced a massive points reduction anyway.

Perhaps this virus episode will put us all off football, as players are exposed for what and who they truly are, and we become increasingly disgusted with them, and the sport that feeds their greed are narcissism?

Of course, we'll have to change the subject matter of this forum, since football will no longer matter. I reckon it should become the focus for comedy, which would be befitting for you clowns, yeah?

No, because you're an overly aggressive idiot. I don't know what you're trying to prove; but you're just coming across as a bit of a twat, its 9:55 in the morning fella.

Have a cup of tea and calm down.
