That's the simple reason I don't like Americans, I've had my life fill of American loud mouthed arrogance, let alone they have the most pretentious greeting of any country in the world, 'have a nice day' oh do fook off, it's not even sincere, it's like clones being repetitive, I'm surprised McDonalds didn't adopt it as a logo. What worries me from out point of view is that two of our three biggest customers are remaining open (at present), not enough to justify us staying open but large enough to hurt if we lose them to someone else whilst we are closed.

Randomly I’ve been exchanging texts this evening with a pal who is Sri Lankan. He got in touch to say he was racially abused this afternoon while he was out cycling (an old bitch telling him that he shouldn’t be outdoors). I asked whether the same happened when he lived in Texas and he replied that Texans are more ignorant than Brits but less abusive. Basically he knew more of them disapproved of his existence but they were less likely to tell him!

Would be hard to do to be honest, some are electrically biased whilst others are ICE biased, the three companies involved run both types of vehicle so who do you keep in on the off chance one breaks down. If we were a large company with dedicated site engineers it would be much easier and fairer to decide, unfortunately we are not.

They often go for a walk .
I think they are Caribbean not sure !
I always say hello and they give you a nice smile .
It doesn't hurt to be pleasant to people!

I don’t understand the hate. It’s totally alien to my way of thinking. My mate definitely contributes more to society and the economy than that abusive bitch does. Nice bloke, pays a lot of taxes, devout Christian, volunteer but...brown. Surely a time to look beyond the colour of someone’s skin.

At first she tried to ignore him but he kept asking and I can only assume she felt the need to be polite and/or became flustered that she replied "from pakistan" (she was born and brought up in England but referred to her heritage). At which point he says to her "bloody hell that's all we need is you people coming over and spreading this muck around" and walked off mumbling some other ****. My daughter said she felt like someone had slapped her round the face. After the shock of it she just cried and felt like a piece of ****.

I'm really getting sick of arguing with people that should know better !
We have a Cockney guy who works with us Essex .
Hes recently started airing his dislike of let's say none English
A woman I work with mentioned a rude old woman In the supermarket that blocked the aisle and put all the tissues in her trolley !
His response was I bet she was foreign .
She said no a rude english pensioner .
I ended up have a bit of a set to over his ****ing attitude AGAIN !
The worst thing is the people that I know that have this anti foreign sentiment are 50+ and should know better !

See my initial reaction was like my blood was boiling, partly because to me she was just an innocent young girl.

Trying to explain it to my daughter I wanted to see it as the old bloke is just afraid and that's just his fear lashing out. Fck knows, maybe I just don't want to believe ppl can be nasty like that inherently.
