So another nurse has died. It makes me wonder if relatives of deceased NHS personnel, will seek to prosecute the government after this is all over. Especially if it can be proved, that their deaths were related to a lack of PPE.

Jaesus, very sad. :(

I think they could only say it was "likely" the nurse contracted it in the hospital, would that be enough? might be given how exposed these workers were/are.

There will definitely be a boatload of legal going on after this all over the place

tbf the NHS preparedness for a Pandemic is something every gov of the last 20ish years should have had a plan for.

Our technological advancement does cause some complacency unfortunately.

They would for sure have plans to deal with this kinda thing...... It's just not really been working very well lol.. Yet its mainly through cuts that have now bitten us on the arse.

Glad the boys in blue found the magic tree let's just hope the rothschild cartel has pity on us..... Don't hold your breath mind.... We haven't long paid for the debt we accured from the 2nd world war where they funded both sides

I believe all pandemics overindex with healthcare workers so it has to be a significant factor. Given they’re working indoors and physically close to patients the viral load seems to be causing massive issues for them as the best part of 100 dead doctors in Italy grimly suggests.

I think part the problem for our government, Italy eventually started to give their healthcare workers full body suits. SKY News have highlighted this in full documentary, so it beggars the question, if that is the learnings coming out of Italy, then we should be adopting the same approach. I'm not sure if anyone else has watched it, but there is a clear dividing line between healthcare workers in full body suits and those that are not, and the rules around patient contact. Would I be seeking redress at a later date if I lost a loved one, who was a healthcare worker, damn right I would!

Only, the U.K. ran a 3 day national pandemic flu exercise in late 2016, called operation Cygnus. One of the findings of the now buried report, was that our system would be overrun and we had a distinct lack of ventilation.

600 dead yesterday, and looks the same today.

So if Fosse posted some pictures, good on him. We may all only have memories left at this rate.

Chances are some **** off here will die, maybe more than one.

<laugh> indeed ... although you will now be a target for Dick & Dumb and their fanny club <cheers>
