Ok so **** off the people who are dedicating their lives to protecting all the stupid ****s in this country. Guess what, it’s not just the doctors and nurses who make the nhs function.

Anyone who has had political discussion with me on this forum knows I’m not left wing, I don’t through ideology back the nhs without criticism (particularly in relation to management and efficiency) I’ve argued with people that the nhs isn’t being privatised etc...But the reality of this situation is that throughout the upper echelons of the NHS they are acting in an incredible way to combat coronavirus.

It’s all well and good feeling bad for the frontline staff, I get how easy it is to feel emotive towards the hardship they face. But behind that is a huge organisation working in a way it’s never had to before to deliver results on shorter timescales than its ever had to. They are working ridiculously hard and I can assure you they are doing an amazing job.

Guess what? No country in the world has had pandemic contingency in place well enough to deal with this. It isn’t the governments fault, it isn’t the NHS fault, it’s a situation that has occurred which is **** for everyone, really difficult to deal with, and people of all levels are doing their best.

Blaming the government for the nhs struggling to cope with something that the entire world is struggling with is ****ing ******ed. Especially in relation to PPE which is dealt with by the nhs, not any minister in government.

But because it suits the narrative of certain individuals to blame the government for things they don’t have direct control over, people will continue to do so. It’s ducking stupid.

What are you on about? Who's ****ing off anyone in the NHS except you when you claimed it was just a few in the front line moaning like they've got nothing better to do. Which was bollox in itself.

I've not criticised the NHS management. I asked you who was ultimately responsible for the supply chain and distribution. You said in effect no one department in the NHS was. I've not commented on that at all. It's you who keeps bringing it back to them and getting yourself worked up about it. I even said to you I'm not aiming it at the NHS management. And I've not said anyone is not working hard so fck knows what you're going on about.

It's simple, the government should've been better prepared. Not perfect, not sunshine and rainbows, just better. They're always reacting mate, never proactive. They've dragged their heels at every stage of this outbreak and this is just another example of it. Sorry you don't like any criticism of this government, maybe they can do no wrong in your eyes but for me if they make mistakes they should be held to account. And if that accountability leads to public opinion putting pressure on them to better support the NHS and protect the lives of front line staff then that's all good by me.

Whatever thats says its wrong.

Germany are managing the situation much better than we are.

Obviously. They’re German

The Italians, meanwhile, are doing a much better job of singing arias from their balconies.

We are world class at taking the piss though, you have to give us that. We even have an actual clown as PM.

You're twisted mate !
I'm calling out the crass top end of the pyramid which includes ( whether you like it or not ) the incumbent regime !
Ppe should have been ramped up weeks ago as plenty of small companies can easily convert to it !
For you to twist it to me having gna pop at NHS staff us very poor TBF.

You’ve openly had a pop at nhs staff. You’ve said that the PPE issues are organisational failing despite having it pointed out that the nhs are dealing with the procurement and distribution of said PPE.

You’ve flippantly acted as if it’s an easy task and shouldn’t be a problem, totally ignoring the nhs staff working their arses off to deliver said PPE to the frontline.

But it doesn’t fit to your idea of what being left wing is and supporting the nhs is. Unless it comes out of a nurses mouth it can’t be the nhs. **** the people making the strategic decisions, **** the people who’s decision making has set up field hospitals with icu capacity in record time. **** the people getting no sleep, working all the hours in a day to deal with the logistical, procurement and distribution of PPE. Because they aren’t nurses and being left wing and supporting the nhs means supporting nurses.

Clueless, blind political bias is what creates your opinion rather than accepting the intricacies of situations, that sometimes you have to waver from your taught beliefs.

It isn’t about right and left. It’s about people doing their best to pull together across the nation in different roles and situations to do the best we can.
