Don't know about you guys but i'm getting a horrible feeling that bigdownunder is actually big_chris in disguise. If you compare their comments/posts/threads, they have a very similar pattern to them.

I could be wrong but since big_chris received the wrath of MackemsRule (well done by the way) all of a sudden bigdownunder starts posting, strange that eh?

maybe if quinn hadn't banned the lads in grief after the hearts match, we'd have a few more.

honestly, i get his point about the crowds, but on the other hand he's shafted a boat load of die-hard fans, some of whom weren't even charged.

still, an average of 40 000 after a decade of absolute ****e isn't to be sniffed at. i know we are having a good season, but we just bent over in our two biggest matches, no wonder the fans still doubt.

I know a lot of people who dont go now, because of the 15 & 19 point seasons, that was the last straw for quite a few fans, it'll take more than one good season to get some fans back

Still stand by my point about pricing for the 16 to 20 year olds, they are the future, if we can't hook them young we are losing the next generation of SAFC supporters.
In the bad old days even 3rd Div, when there was a hardcore of us supporters I don't ever remember the prices being a problem home and away, out every night and weekend both sessions on the beer. Still had spare money after all that.
aye, i used to go out with a quid, have eight pints a packet of ***s and fish'n'chips on the way home.

aye, back in the day a few bob would get you a match ticket, a hearty meal and a tavern wench.

dyno - i reckon any club would struggle to get so many fans back after those two awful humiliations. we were an absolute joke, and it will take several years of steady success to erase the memories of that.

yeah, 40k average attendance after giving us 10-15 yrs of absolute rubbish in the premier league, is fantastic
