That doesn’t surprise me in the least.

Stan is typical of many in Society who take practically everything at face value, almost as though he is utterly unable to think outside the box or look behind the mask.

He accepts blindly what he is told by those in authority.

He would have been a perfect citizen in 1930s Germany, although he will bitterly chastise me for saying so.

That is no way an insult to him - most on here would have been model citizens in 1930s Germany. It is merely an observation.

Now watch the usual crowd pile into me for saying that.

Not if they're not fluent in German ... you didn't think it through :emoticon-0138-think

I believe in living an authentic life. That requires being honest with myself, as much as I am to, at any rate.

If I see something that is so clearly false to me, I have to say something. I get it that most people aren’t like that, even if they see the same things in the same way as me, and I understand that a lot of people don’t like to rock the boat, for a lot of reasons. I’m not one of those people, and I quite often suffer because of it. But it is harder for me to say nothing than to say something, especially with things that I believe are important.

If at any time it becomes obvious to me that I have been barking up the wrong tree, I will be the first to recant.

That said, I do believe it’s important to ask questions. It never ceases to amaze me how or why some people can get so angry at that. Perhaps it’s their own deep seated insecurity being dragged into the light? I don’t know.
This is demonstrably untrue, as proven only the other day, by your complete refusal to accept that the utter nonsense you posted about the COVD-19 test was factually and irrefutably false.

You’re the type to pick a side and stick with it, with a complete refusal to reconsider your position when information is provided to you that completely undermines your stance.

You’re also someone who seems to continually seek to take a contrary stance on most issues, probably driven by your desire to be seen as being somehow ‘different’ and the narcissism that makes you convinced that you’re somehow superior to us mere mortals.

Used to love a bit of Matteson's sausage back in the day but in revisiting the experience wasn't the same.

Then "why bother saying it?", is what I would ask you, because currently it amounts to

"Trump will destroy America" is ludicrously hyperbolic :bandit:

He won’t do it on his own.

You have to worry about the collective mental health of a nation who would elect an unstable narcissist as President, don’t you think?

The USA is in deep trouble. And if America is in trouble so is the rest of the democratic world.

Filthy mind Roy.
On an unrelated note, I’m gonna treat myself to a nice cream pie after my tea tonight.
Yum

The first time I ate pie was on dog **** lane after drinking a bottle of pulse and smoking a fiver deal... it was great
