I’ve read that there’s a theory of a correlation between how much of the virus you’re initially exposed to and how badly you’re affected by it. So front line clinicians who getting it from extremely ill patients are much more likely to have a more serious infection.

Viral loading, it’s definitely a thing.

It's mental how some people can have it and not even know, others have mild symptoms and yet it can kill perfectly healthy folk. Pleased to hear that your sister in law is OK.

I’m almost certain I’ve had it in a very mild dose as well. Had an unusual headache for 3-4 days with shallow breathing when horizontal and my Mrs followed up immediately after with throat, headache and a slight cough.

Also the kids have now got a bit of a cold and I’m catching it, so if what I had previously was a cold there’s no way I’d be catching it again this soon.

The one good thing to come out of this is that in one fell swoop the NHS will be stocked countrywide with thousands of ventilators, which can be used in so many different circumstances for patients.

It took a national crisis for that to happen with one bit of kit. So much more is equally needed for illnesses that are also killing thousands but because you can't catch them in a pandemic there's zero pressure for the government to replenish or stock those.

Somewhere in the world is somebody celebrating, and when COVID Doesn’t go away in a few days, they’ll claim Jesus was too busy mourning lost souls, and once it eventually does go it will be praise to our lord and saviour Jesus Christ, **** all to do with whichever university comes up with some sort of remedy.

I read some NHS stats that say 40,000 people die each year in the UK from respiratory problems caused by air pollution, alone.

That’s without this bout of flu.

As it happens, Jews in this country are overindexing in terms of deaths so it could be Jesus-driven. Possibly more to do with being an older population disproportionately living in London but I can’t rule out Jesus’ revenge with Easter on the way.

It’s definitely ****ing up the Romans too, so you could be onto something

And those muslimacs for not believing he's the son of god. No need for that dna testing now!

Don’t forget the locusts in Africa.... it’s biblical end times!

War, Famine, Pestilence and Death. We're either in an episode of Supernatural or those guys shouting in city centres were right all along.

Apparently they are now preaching that this is our last chance to repent and be saved. They want Sucky to lay off the plants and Chaos to lay off the women before any of us lot will be allowed in. Not HIAG though - even God thinks he is a ****!

On a serious note, I am not a religious person but some of the stories out there about how some churches, mosques and temples are helping out in this crisis is really heartwarming. I may not agree with organised religion, but there are some genuinely good people who attend those places with their hearts in the right place.
