So on average it takes people two or three days to get results of tests. Johnson gets yesterday evening and results this morning. It can be done if they have to
A bit of a difference Eire, can't travel more than 2km from house, more places to shut, gone from two people out in parks down to none.
I know but many people were already doing most if not all of that. Just hope weather stays decent that we can at least get some exercise in. There were a few businesses down my way construction based that probably needed forcing to close
Just watched how bad it is in Spain. Many are quick to knock what’s going on (or not) here but not a single Spanish health worker had the plastic full face visor, people were laying on the A&E floor, corridors overflowing, Ice rink had HGV lorries reversing in with the dead, it was bad.
Este here, from Spain, It is bad here, but, the press only show the worst, I still do not know anyone infected, not even friend of a friend. The daily amount of new cases is still very high, but not escalating as in previous days. We went into lockdown 14 days ago and people (apart from the usual dickheads) are taking it very seriously. They have called in the army, hospitals been made out of hotels etc. The ice rink is true, sensible move as the amount of dead can not be handled by undertakers. Only time will tell. STAY SAFE STAY HOME MOT.
Just read back over the first two pages of this thread. Dates back four weeks. I’d imagine some opinions have changed a fair bit over those four weeks
Just seen that SA have gone into total lockdown, not surprising but, They have banned the sale of alcohol and tabaco! Could send stir crazy people to a higher level!
