Gary Lineker has tweeted that the Everton 1985 team under Howard Kendall was the best team he played for ... some mischevious press and pundits adding "despite seven seasons at Leicester" in a bid to create some drama.

I'd agree with Lineker 100% ... that Everton team was incredibly good. His Leicester years were spent with a bunch of journeymen and veterans with the notable exception of his strike partner, Alan Smith.
