aye, and the other side of the coin, people in droves looking for anything to attack, collateral damage and casualties be damned. Both are loud ****bag minorities yet they have all of the visibility one way or the other. It's like they are having their own little war and the media have joined in and picked sides

Meanwhile we want to work and pay our bills, have a pint and watch some football, if lucky (these days) you get your bag emptied :) and sleep somewhat well.

I honestly do wonder if the wars of the 20th century really did rob society of the best of us :emoticon-0147-emo:

Did seem a bit of an anomaly how small the number was yesterday but anomalies do happen. Is this implying this has been the case from the start?

well tbf that only said that the 24hr rolling total may not be up to date due to awaiting consent .however the late arrival of Englands stats yesterday does seem a tad suspicious to say the least .

Since when did ‘consent’ become a thing for inclusion into nameless statistics?

I don’t remember anyone asking for my ‘consent’ to be added to the list of 1.5m quoted figure for the vulnerable.

If true, this is horseshit and a managed manipulation that will skew the reality that is being portrayed.

I don't believe this. Divulging figures does not indicate who the person was, so I see no credibility in wanting to leave them out. However, I do see credibility in wanting to ensure the death was as a result of COVID-19 which might take longer to ascertain as we also have to be sure we are not adding deaths to the list, that were not as a result of the virus.

I'm really not sure what is going on but it's now confirmed that Public Health England have changed to a new reporting system.

In addition, the consent angle is utter nonsense anyway. The dead don’t have any rights under GDPR or anything else.

The sanctions imposed so far, the prefect recalled, will amount to a fine of 200 euros. A sanction updated by the government and specific for those who have not complied with the quarantine, both mandatory and voluntary, "is that which refers to article 260 of the health laws and provides for the arrest from 3 to 18 months and an administrative sanction from 500 to 5000 euros ".

I, on the other hand, am quite prepared for you to do to yourself and to your body, or to permit others to do to you, whatever you consent to. As a free man, I allow you that freedom of choice.
