Bloody hell McSalmond got off. I won't knock him as the verdict was not guilty but I read it was something like 10-14 women complained about him... maybe he is just a 'touchy feely' type of bloke.
May be but the majority of the jury was female as well. Also having read coverage of the cross-examination of at least one of the 'alleged' victims she certainly seemed to have changed her tune having gone from 'honour and pleasure at the prospect of working with him again (said not to him or in public but rather to another female work colleague) to nightmares about the experience he subjected her to. It often takes one dodgy witness to come unstuck for a whole case to fall apart and that after all is how it should be given the presumption of innocence until proven guilty. Once the seeds of doubt have been sown and the conspiracy idea takes root.

Also contrast the difference in approach between our beloved Prince Andrew who spent all his time trying to run away from questions and then his lamentable performance to Salmond's forthright denial and complete willingness to be cross-examined. It counts for a lot with a jury. Doesn't mean he did not lie. He may well have done but the prosecutor did not lay a glove on him. He took his chance and won.

Gove had a nightmare on the tv this morning. Torys really are struggling to put out a clear and concise message.

Please let me know if you cant play and I will try again.

Wasn’t on ITV didn’t have a clue on some of their own policies
I think you are referring to the policy on children with divorced / separated parents
He freely admitted on Breakfast that his advice on ITV earlier hadn't been clear enough
I'm not surprised some confusion arises - it is a very fluid situation
I don't think any party / leader would do things perfectly; I for one would not want to be in charge now. Most certainly damned if you do and damned if you don't, and always someone out there who claims that they have all the answers

He was very clear on BBC Breakfast

He didn't have a mare at all.
Got in a bit of a lather about kids visiting parents that are divorced etc, but that really is a difficult one imo.
The latest advice has been crystal clear and anyone pretending otherwise are doing it for political reasons.

The reality is Col that we do have a few that inhabit the message board who are clearly experts in everything and anything :emoticon-0145-shake
Fortunately those individuals are nowhere near the decision making processes in this country

If you’re having a cheap dig at me here, when did I even suggest I was an expert in everything? Oh that’s right I didn’t, it’s Goves job to be able to answer the questions that were thrown at him, he got flustered by Piers Morgan who lets face it is a gobshite and clearly didn’t know what had been agreed giving mixed messages, he did a **** job on ITV, if he managed to pull it round for bbc fair play to him.

Anyone on hear who dares to speak out or question the government on here, like many platforms gets **** and mocked from the usual suspects in an attempt to shut down all criticism (I’m not saying you actually Stortford). And I don’t believe for a second that these same people would do the same under another Government. We have differing views and opinions and that’s a good thing, it prevents those in power to be allowed to get away with absolute corruption.

Not at all Will
If we couldn't debate on here what would be the point of posting?
Balanced discussion invariably leads to a more interesting board!
