Turns out public bodies have been sent guidance to suspend non essential contractors work but to continue paying them as if it was being done.
Bit annoying we had to find this out via clients rather than the government! We could have acted differently this morning if we’d known.
But it’s a fantastic move by government that should really help a lot of businesses provided the guidance is followed.
