I could get a snffle....I work in a fridge ffs.

I could get a week off in a blink of a hat..no questions asked,

So companies with more than 2 employees on one site who can’t work from home, need to close down then? As they didn’t say that.....

Confusing isn’t it.......

But not if you’re simple like Diego.

I’d say if the two people are using different floors/facilities they probably wouldn’t count as more than two people gathering so I’m sure there’s ways of working round it to stay open for plenty of places (plus some will just ignore it I’m sure).

There’s obviously a need for people to use some common sense and think of others when deciding if they are sticking to the lockdown or not. There’s all kinds of different situations where it could be argued one way or the other whether person A can do activity B based on C, D and E.

I really do think personal responsibility is key here. Other than outright banning everyone from doing anything and sticking the army on the streets I don’t see how the government are supposed to act. We need individuals to listen to the guidance, make sensible decisions, and encourage others to do the same.

Plus it’s not up to the employee to decide to have the time off on 80%, the companies have to apply for it. So no individual can just choose to take the piss. The company would have to choose to take the piss.
As per it’s as woolly as ****.

80% of what? Their Basic full time pay? Their Average earnings from PAYE? No ****er knows, as they’ve not yet defined it.

**** me you are not normally this simple, you can't meet in gatherings of more than two for pleasuer, social, frivolous reasons. How do you bring work into this (unless you are being deliberately thick).

@Roy Munson I can remember us a little while back having a debate over animal testing, I'm sure you remember it. Just got to thinking with this virus, where it will take around 18 months of testing, and part of those tests will involve animals. I assume remembering our previous debate, that if you had the choice of death or the vaccine, that you would decline the latter due to your morals....just curious?

Obviously if it means you being a carrier, we would have to get Comm to put a bullet in you :bandit:
He's out with a roll off rape tape, and looking at windows...

I didn’t bring 2 people into it, I was replying to another poster who did.

To be fair though on the economic measures this has all escalated very quickly and they’ve announced some good measures and we have to give them time to put meat on the bones. We just need them to be as quick as physically possible!
