Just been reading a little bit about the IOC thinking about coming up with a deadline day for the olympics

Stomping will only work if you can then keep the population free from the virus until a vaccine is found. As soon as a new carrier is introduced to the population it'll spread rapidly again as there'll be no natural immunity. China could end up having multiple "stomps" unless it can shut itself off from the rest of the planet until a vaccine is found.
Maybe that's China's plan all along. Develop a virus, having already developed a vaccine, release it initially among their own population with a few thousand deaths to make it look authentic (small collateral damage in a country of nearly 1.5 billion people) then watch it spread around the world ****ing up every other country's economy, then watch as their own outbreak 'miraculously' disappears.
Wouldn't put it past them tbh.
I believe any arrival into China has to go into quarantine for 14 days but yes without immunity being built up in the population, or a vaccine developed then the virus can pop up again.
As can Ebola, Sars and Mers, but now they know about it, they will react hell of a lot quicker. Apparently one country had a great way of finding who had been in contact with infected people, they could get the person's phone and tell every phone that had been near to that phone and there's not many don't carry phones.
Anyone know of friends or relatives who have this bug, and I don't mean cold or flu?
reason I ask is, a friend of mine felt unwell so phoned the doc and he just told him to isolate and if he had family, he does. two more people, then they should isolate too, that's three more people on the coronavirus list

One of my daughter's best friends mom is a front line nurse and she has it, so we've been pretty much locked down since Friday, non of us have any symptoms but the girls hang around together alot so just being careful.Anyone know of friends or relatives who have this bug, and I don't mean cold or flu?

Sit tight mate hope everything works out. Thanks for being sensible, unlike all those idiots who were out and about yesterday doing their best to spread the virus to as many people as possible.
Saw some disturbing videos last night of deRoiste crowd disturbances in parts of London. Hundreds of police required to try keep on top of it. No idea how true the videos are but surely past the point of needing immediate lockdown. What are the governments waiting for, Santa with a miracle cure
