Just watched Midway on DVD. Fantastic action scenes. 7/10.

I'm being hassled about the garden. The missus wants me to tend to the flowerbeds and borders, but I just want to roll some smokes and watch Minder.

At this rate I may have to run away to my caravan in Suffolk.
Sorry Pondy but I thought Midway was terrible. The CGi left a lot to be desired and the acting was as wooden as it gets.

Unless it's the original Midway you're talking about.

No, I meant the recent version. I agree about the hammy acting, but I thought the action scenes were terrific.

Funny how opinions can differ.

Great news guise. Watching sky news now and the deaths per day have fallen from yesterday. To early to tell, but hopefully lockdown does work. Thank **** every country in the world are in lockdown, aren't they?

Also it depends on lots of other factors, lockdown hasn't been in place for long enough yet. It's definitely a better solution than 'let's give it to everyone and see what happens' plan BoJo initially supported.

I think Bojo was doing his best to keep Tim Martin's bank balance happy with that plan. Sadly, I fear that friendship may be well and truly over now :(

The insurance companies will not be happy too...

Bailouts will start happening all over the place.

Tbf he held off as long as he could to keep them happy.

The line "I'd avoid the pubs and restaurants if I were you" by Bojo was a rotund masterclass in tightrope walking <laugh>

Is it really the best plan? Could go on for years. Even if we manage to eradicate the virus here will the rest of the world manage too? Or will it just keep coming back over and over?
