Good God Dragon, came on here tonight to try and cheer myself up, ....... bloody hell after reading your last posts, I think I better sighs off again and go and quarrel with the wife, and she always wins anyway.
Codenamed Operation Broadshare according to army sources, were originally due a few weeks ago but have been delayed so they can be altered to reflect the rapid spread of the virus.
More than 10,000 British soldiers, sailors and airmen will be put on standby in the coming weeks as the coronavirus crisis worsens. At the extreme end, proposals have even been considered to cope with the breakdown of civil society. "It feels like we're getting ready for war, but this time at home," one senior source familiar with the plans told Sky News.
"This is what the military is good at, we are always planning scenarios and ready to step in to help, however I've never known anything like this. There are just so many unknowns." No units have been tasked yet, but that order could come within days if necessary. The military is working on the assumption at least 20% of its personnel will contract coronavirus. A small number of personnel have already been seconded to regional centres to help with civic planning.
Saw a load of loaded army vehicles leaving morfa ta center yesterday afternoon so preparations are on the move !
Hope they are protecting closed schools and businesses from scum !

Our works is right by HMS Collingwood, and this morning on my way in, there looked to be a big mobilisation. Then later this afternoon a mass convoy of Jeeps left the barracks. One of the lads in work mentioned, his mate works there’s maintaining vehicles said that he was told we’re going into full lock down on Friday.

in times of a National emergency the Forces are normally called upon so no surprise there but due to the cut backs and shortages of personnel they're going to be extremely hard worked over the coming weeks /months. Good luck lads and lasses and keep safe.
Children not in school....they won't be on the streets either
