Everyone would prefer that, only not at the expense of next season or at a point so far down the track that you couldn’t say it had any genuine continuity.Let's finish I reckon.

For what?I have a ticket to Wembley next month.
Not actually been cancelled as far as I am aware.
I wouldn’t pay for your train tickets if I was you matePortsmouth vs Salford![]()

****ing hell their PR machine is in full flow. They’re wheeling out a crusty old Kopite daily.John Barnes thinks next season should be cancelled so this season can be completed. This season is special.
Literally none of them talk about finishing the cup competitions. The only time they get a mention is when they say the cups should be scrapped to create extra time to finish the league. It's embarrassing.
I wouldn't mind if these ex-liverpool scrotes came on and talked about completing the season for every club's benefit, but oh no... all about LFC and fck what happens to the rest. Selfish ****s.

It would have been the highest attendance gap, between fans ever, at Wembley too.

How many did you lot get?
Shame if you don't get an opportunity to equal our competition attendance record![]()
We'd broken it in ticket sales already, hopefully we'd have got more, as it didn't look like Salford were going to sell many.
Would have been amazing to see. The population of Portsmouth is less than 200k so more than 1 in 4 people from the whole city would have turned up.

Surprised by that, we were capped at a limit due to worries about segregation leaving thousands of empties that we could have sold. Lots of bad blood between Saints and Carlisle I suppose...
Suspect they sold a few more than Salford would have mind.
