just went to sainsburies today. Apparantly the biggest in miles (the one in charlton). All the fresh produce (friuit, veg, meat) was pretty much cleared out. Was quite miserable in there really (a bit of frozen stuff left over, no pasta or rice). Lucky i had already done a bit of shopping at the chinese supermarket.

can't believe such twats are stockpiling food. I'm lucky enough to be able to pop to marks and sparks next door which had a quite a bit more and also order takeouts but i really feel for the people who are on the bread line as it was only expensive items left or nothing at all.

The other thing i heard as my wife is on a neighbourhood watch after her parents got robbed was that there are people pretending to help old people do their shopping but either scamming them and using there cards or robbing them blind and the advice is for old people to ask people they trust rather than having random strangers helping them.

I guess when theres opportunity, there will also be scum!

Police in Camden warning that people were knocking on doors offering to test residents for Coronavirus, then robbing them. There are some ****ing horrible people about.

I wonder if there is a problem with the supply chain on fruit and veg - i've not come across that section being cleared out yet. There is only a few things from that section that will keep, that would be potatoes and onions (regardless of their bb dates). I suppose ppl could freeze some of it but seems a bit OTT (but hey yeah like everything else).

If you live near the supermarket, I suppose you could take the sad predicament of knowing when the delivery lorry turns up!

I aint going anywhere near a supermarket if i can help it, made a shhite load of spag bowl today, from using up some perishables, will last a couple of days. Actually managed several days ago to pick up some large and very nice looking baked potatoes, fook the date on them, they will keep until I need them.

Anyway more important news, my 30 jaffa cakes are right now, 7 less, my doctor is going to have a fooking fit <laugh>

Should be a minimum 10 years inside for anybody caught doing that kind of **** ... and no early release coz they subsequently express remorse or find God bollox ... beneath contempt <grr>

I bet half the fookers buying the shop up have probably already got a month supply of food indoors! Generally it would take a good couple of weeks to clear everything out of my house. Especially when it comes to clearer the freezer out, another reason i made the spag bol today, the beef mince really needed using up. Somedays you can't always have what you might fancy, you have to have what needs using up, so it aint getting chucked away/wasted.

If your veg is starting to look a bit ropey turn it into soup and freeze what you can't consume fresh ... my Missus makes Fookin awesome spiced parsnip and various squash and carrot and coriander soups ...

I've done nothing different and nothing different has happened. Having said that, my bro has done forecasts and to prevent them from losing in the next financial year he has had to lay 3 off. 3 who had 15 - 20 years service each. So they were mates.
