Wow, forgotten already how good he was...the best we ever had probably? Went off him towards the end, always seemed to want to be pulled off early! :emoticon-0103-cool::emoticon-0103-cool:

A lazy left foot, but sooooo effective. There were even 2 with his standing leg.
His goal celebrations were wild.:emoticon-0111-blush

The thing I loved about him was he made it all look so effortless and he wasn't one to shirk a tackle either.

OK, he couldn't actually tackle for toffees really but he always gave it a go!

In the (cringe worthy) words of the so called professional pundits... a top top player.

Reading on some other CCFC sites that Whitts is in intensive care after falling down stairs. Hope it’s not as bad as it sounds.

Not sure if true but seems they have knocked his life support off...... Hope im wrong.

Terrible news if true.

Fingers crossed for the guy.

We have previously had discussions on here about which players are or are not legends. For me Whitts definitely qualifies.

Just scouted various news sites, nothing. If anyone gets any news, please post asap.

Apparently there is something on Twitter from a former neighbour talking about the same. Nothing confirmed but it claims he is on life support.

Hope to god it's not true (though goodness knows why someone would start such a rumour) but if it is, I hope beyond hope that he gets through it.
