while the Italians and Spaniards get over dramatic, the Germans are going to screw everyone by hoarding medical equipment, and the French will probably surrender.

Quote from someone in isolation with kids, after one day

“We’re all going a bit mad inside”

But people want the schools closed for two months...

Prolonged isolation won’t work now because we won’t be able to sustain it.

Which is why we SAVE IT FOR THE PEAK.

No, my parents are long gone sadly. Of course the old and the vulnerable need to be protected as best as possible, but the sooner the rest of us get the virus and get well again, the sooner we can get back to normal. I'm no fan of this government as you know, but I happen to think that the softly softly approach is probably the best way to go.

I bet those survivalists in the US are having a field day. All their hopes and dreams becoming a reality. Meanwhile for us normal folk we need to stay safe look after our most vulnerable ( especially the elderly) and prepare for a difficult time ahead.
Don’t believe everything you read on the internet as 90% is crap and incorrect. I read something only yesterday by a Facebook friend that made me mad because not only was it b@ll@@@s it got many responses from concerned people. Tw@ts

I thought it may also be useful for posters to give out useful tips.

    Useful tip
Milk can be frozen so you can still have your tea or coffee. Don’t freeze it in bottle as it expands. The best way is to put into those ice cube things and once frozen put into a freezer bag. Ideal for a cuppa.
If you have a cow then discard this. :emoticon-0100-smile

Home with my two kids today, in the park, which was as busy as normal. Talking to another parent, rumours are that Macron will announce tonight schools will stay shut for as long as five weeks.

Sorry to hear about the folks. The danger is if we all decide to attend Coronavirus Parties, a large number will react badly to it and the strain on the NHS will be over breaking point and people will die unnecessarily. Softly, softly yes, so there's a drip feed into the hospitals and IC units

I hear French health minister says ‘situation in country is deteriorating fast’. EU commission is kicking off regarding countries closure of boarders and that they are ignoring the commission. My US friend said shops were empty of toilet paper and food seemed to running low.
    Keep safe all

    Fair play Stroller.
I now get the herd thing and agree it may work. If everyone is I’ll the NHS will not cope so infect all that are fit which means less will contract at a later date. Meaning that many old/vulnerable Will have less chance to be infected ( especially if the are kept at home). I heard a chap on the news saying none of the countries actually know what they are doing so we shouldn’t knock the governments... things are changing daily. However the government does need to hold daily briefings. And piers Morgan needs to stop saying the world is ending as panic will set in.

Morgan is being an irresponsible twat, completely undermining everything the authorities are trying to do.
Even the people working with him are calling him out on it.

Col, yes I happily agree with you on this one. Morgan is a vile creature who seemingly will say or do anything to keep him in the spotlight, I wonder how much of what he says he actually believes in, same with the likes of Hopkins. However because of their 'celebrity status' people listen to them and it can prove to be dangerous.

With apologies if this has already been discussed, as I don't want to go through 31 pages, but is anyone else worried about how this is going to impact on the transfer window?

My worry is that no games = no sky subscribers = no sky money to clubs = less money sloshing around = lower transfer fees for Eze / BOS. Just when we thought we were sitting on a golden goose. How ruddy QPR can you get?

Please someone tell me I'm wrong.
