A lad called Sommers stuck the head on me in there once, nasty ****er.

I'm working with him at the mo was the number 8 in our rugby team same year in school ....strong as an oz and a pain when drunk..... A really nice boy when sober which isn't that often...... Remember tour to North Wales and he did our heads in so much we sat on the **** all the way up took six of us lol.

He's bitten plenty of ears off people around yuh.......... He's **** scared of myself though so he's fine with me......typical bully

Looks like schools staying open for now.

My daughter is out of school told em today we want school work pack so we can do it home........ Expected a call from the head teacher worrying about the lose of pupil attendance money which is no concern of mine but nothing from them.... they know me well enough not to be threatening my family decisions.

I thought you would know him, tapped me on the shoulder so I didn't see it coming. He was a nasty ****er.

Yeah I know him very well dude....our rugby team was full of thugs and it was carnage on the field wherever we played..... The one that put us in our place was out in Dublin where most of us either ended up bloodied or in the ambulance to the hospital.

Great game that we ended up winning..... Went onto watch Wales win triple crown and all in the afternoon....... I got lost and ended up finding the family I stayed with during the miners strike in 84..... Teacher's weren't happy <doh>

People get colds all the time, it's not a valid reason to stay off work.

If RCL had said Flu then fair enough but the idea of people taking a few days off for a cold is laughable.

I wasn't talking about people taking time off for a sniffle mate. I don't know anyone who tries to take time off for silliness but accept it happens...I defended people who were too ill to work for 5 days in a year and were at risk of losing their job.

Is there a point to shutting schools?
Genuinely have no clue...all the views given seem to be guesswork.
We have been told to take all our devices home each night so we can do all our reports and planning etc if the school is shut.
The school have also set us up for online training courses for us to do if we shut.
Personally I would rather go to work.

It does seem pointless and I'd rather my kids be there than bothering me at home.

Latest advice, don't even go to the pub, this is serious shhite going down. The hospitals in Italy who are 4 weeks in on us, can't cope and haven't coped. If you are ill out there, there is no point in going to hospital, no matter how serious, because they are so overwhelmed they will not be able to help you. Take the advise and isolate, if you don't, and then you do fall sick, there most probably will not be anyone able to save your life. If someone is sick and you help them, you will fall sick to - that's the consequence. The government are only drip feeding the public and putting on brave faces for the TV cameras to avoid panic. The government will not force you to avoid contact in public places, but don't be surprised if they do take totalitarian measures in the coming weeks or even days. Ignore if you so wish, it's your grave but don't put others in theirs. 2,158 currently have paid with their life in Italy, that's about 350 deaths up on yesterday.
