She had 3 kids on her own gave us more than she could afford I guess... broke up with my dad , but kept same house ... she retires in oct , so a big party was planned.. preying she gets to see it.. she soldiered on basically deserves it.

So was your mum afffected by the increase in pension age, because she otherwise should have retired 6 years ago?

I know she got bumped heavily in some way .. cant recall exactly what it was , but it was a sizeable amount of money too..

So who is going to look after the kids you are keeping home, while the parents are at work......the grandparents who will need to self isolate <whistle>
the parents.
What part of the question didn't you understand :bandit:
The middle bit I’m guessing.
we're a small family spread not too far apart.. some are working from home, one is on maternity leave and we're all isolating .. im however going to be working as i have no kids or owt... im just saying **** waiting for tweedle dumb to grant permission to protect yourselves
But it's already been made clear a main part of what's going to happen - the over 70's within the coming weeks will be asked to self-isolate for four months. They also need the manufacturing industry to change/adapt to making ventilators. <<< out of this group how does that affect you from not working, what would you like to be protected from, yourself?

yes it does
Why's your mum still working at 66?

So I'll ask again but clearer this time! Why's that the governments fault?

Think i'll go have lay down now :bandit:

she works for the government

So because the government give your mum a job, and allow her to keep working at 66, instead of retiring at 60 as she could have, that's some how the governments fault - sounds to me that you want to ride on the back of this virus as some means of excuse, to buck the system.

Tell you what let's play a game, guess what I'm thinking....

You said your mum gave all 3 of you everything you wanted, hence why she didn't retire at 60 and is still working at 66. I know you go down the tanning booth on a regular basis, to make yourself look good. I know you buy new shoes on a WEEKLY basis, because you can. Yet your mum is working because she's short of a bob or two.

What am I thinking?

you don't understand she wasnt ever retiring at 60...

please show me where I blamed the government though?

getting back to the point.

shes 66 and had type 2 diabetes , however she doesnt want to not see her grandchildren for 4 months, so were not sending them to school.... were all in a position to isolate together bar me... dont see why anyone is waiting for permission was my point, but do your thing mate

this was where you went wrong

this was where you went wrong

No I didn't go wrong anywhere, as you said yourself, your mum had to keep working until 66 because she gave you everything you wanted. That means you can go down tanning booths and buy nice new shoes weekly, while moaning to everyone why life is so unfair.
