So after sitting in that COBRA meeting all day, the government has decided.....to do nothing.....basically phase 2 consists of staying at home for one week if you have a cough or fever.......even though the incubation and transmission stage can last up to 24 days.....

TBF the government has also advised over-70s not to go on cruises

Unlucky @Tobes

If you are all so concerned go self isolate for 6 months, go buy 1000 packs of bog paper and 50 cases of hand cleaner.

Or like the rest of us carry on as normal

TBH the governments actions to this is no surprise really is it? I mean look at the last shambolic couple of years of the Tory government, the incompetence the power battles, the blatant lies and deception to the electorate, the characters and the results. If it had been a PLC then the feds would have been in there no mistake. Dominic Cummings runs this Country and he will do until Labour elect a decent leader, have decent believable policies and adopt a path of gaining respect after the Corbyn shambles.. Enter Kier Starmer..

We live in a beautiful world but with pretty awful, selfish, pocket lining people unfortunately..<ok>

I made sure I joined after the election result along side thousands of others to make sure we got to vote. Starmer will win by a country mile, lisa nandy is a good second place at the mo, I think people have smelt the coffee and not their rims..<ok>

One of my big trading events down here has just been cancelled. Over 50k people attend over the weekend. Looks like that could be the first of many as the govt try to limit large gatherings.

Anybody want to buy some lentils ?

How much for 200g of red lentils bro?

Yeah I've mentioned that a few times. Would like to think the PL could put something in place really?

Be wishful thinking the big clubs would give a toss....... Hopefully the fa has a plan in place but that's also a long shot.

Pity really because I enjoy the lower divisions over the Premier league.....
You immune dude?

He is he's immune to sense

ok, how much for 100g? I do believe you btw but being in hospital I have to think logically :) ..Oh and how much for postage?

Ah man I forgot you were in hospital. What's the scene like up where you are ? I'm concerned about all the older and vulnerable people that can't get out to the shops, whilst everybody else is freaking out and panic buying.

I reckon I'm gonna have to get my head together with a few folk round here and work out a plan to make sure nobody is left isolated ...

Do so bro, if my op doesn't get cancelled tomorrow then I should only be in here for the week. I will buy lentils from you mind, red lentils in lamb casserole is a must. It's panic buying here, there are people that have decided in their heads that the human reset button will not affect them and **** everyone else, their older peers must be turning in their grave. Sad society we have created but you could see it coming in the 70's, Trump and Johnson world leaders during a pandemic, quite a scary reality..
