The bust-up between His Excellency Tahnoon Nimer and Charlton chairman Matt Southall has been an over boiling pot since it started and now Nimer’s lawyer has had his say on TalkSport this lunchtime as he says “the proof of funds has been provided to The EFL”.

Jim White and Natalie Sawyer had Nimer’s lawyer on their show today and he provided some news on this dispute, Tahnoon will remove Matt Southall from his position if he doesn’t voluntarily resign, the only reason he can’t remove him now is because of certain procedures that are in place right now.
The lawyer said that proof of funds has been provided to the English Football League, which if this is true it contradicts what Southall said in his statement so once again Tahnoon Nimer is in the front running of coming out on top of this case.
"I just want all this to end and move on, Southall needs to leave the club, his position here has become untenable and the longer he stays the longer he damages this great club."

Safe to say, while this nonsense is ongoing there will be:
- No new contract for cheaper key players (Phillips & Doughty) - also in hindsight it's clear that Doughty had an extension clause activated in his contract which the club trumped up as a new deal entirely.
- No serious squad planning for the summer.
- Bowyer kept in the dark.
- Charlton Holdings & Football club controlled by separate parties.
- Uncertainty over the future of the club beyond June.
We need this resolved one way or another quickly.

Dont want Southall dont want Nimer both have brought the club into disrepute imo, so hard to believe Nimer runs 60 companies and has acted like he has on social media and dont forget he brought Del Boy wannabe Southall in and gave him what seems to be a free reign what a total mug, are supporters really going to trust him to run our club in the correct manner after a decision like that ?

It appears tho only real money Southall has is what he's siphoned off Charlton. If he thinks he can face Nimer in court he must have siphoned off a helluva lot.
So we've been under a transfer embargo since January. Huge credit to Bowyer &co for carrying on in the face of adversity.Anyone who has been calling for his head should reconsider in the light of this. It also shows what a pack of lies Southall has been feeding us on a daily basis. The more you find out the worse it gets.

What I cannot understand is why the EFL put us under a secret embargo. WTF. Why were they keeping secrets for the owners. Really cannot see how this even happened and we only found out when MS and TN started scrapping.
