Cheated their way to a football league place. No amount of time since will ever make it okay.
I consider AFC Wimbledon to be the winners of the 88 FA cup, what happened was a travesty. I might go up to watch them when they return to Plough Lane next season.
Agree about MK Dons, and don't forget Chelsea <ok>
An Arsenal fan isn't going to complain about underhanded methods of gaining promotion, is he?

Is this the point at which someone mentions Woolwich Arsenal?
I live near Woolwich Arsenal train station...When she was a toddler I taught my now 22 year old to boo whenever she heard the word Arsenal...should have heard the racket she made when we got a train back home and the tannoy annouced that the next Station was woolwich arsenal <laugh>

The old Plough Lane was a great little ground. In a nice leafy suburb with great pubs and pretty posh totty everywhere :)

Unfortunately your claim that you are a hot shot property lawyer and developer was blown to pieces when you were doxxed. Pipe down and get back to doing your conveyancing work chubs. Cornish Clive says hi.

Firstly, I don't put anything on Facebook about any of my business activities, and never have done. Secondly, I am not a conveyancer. Thirdly, Clive isn't from Cornwall. And fourthly, he isn't called Clive.

I have never known get everything so completely wrong as you do, Stan.

Did you know that after the Falklands war back in 1982 the Sun ran an exclusive interview with the wife of Colonel H...a soldier killed in battle.

Only it wasn't an interview with his wife cos she was not up to doing interviews so turned them down...they asked their secretary pool what they would feel like if they were widowers of a war hero!

Takes a special breed of **** to do that imho.

STFU hiag. Clive lives a couple of miles from me and he was born here so he's definitely Cornish.

And here you are telling @Stan he's wrong ffs <doh>

Don't think player valuations are used to calculate a clubs value.
They are more likely to be taken into account than the value of your ground. Unless its in such a prime real estate location that you could sell it, buy another location and build a new stadium for less. What are you going to do with this valuable asset - sell it to another club that fancies moving to Southampton? We are up for sale for 350million and we don’t even own our ground. I suspect our playing squad is worth less than yours so the value of a club comes down to its earning potential. Either that or its proof that Mike Ashley really doesn't want to sell - the bastard.

Yeah, take your pick around there really. Abbey Wood is grim down by the river. Thamesmead is still the jewel in the scuzzy crown though surely ?

Haven't been up there for years now.

The scuzzy jewel in the crown is Erith mate.
Linda Smith (the late comedian) once said Erith (where she was from) was not twinned with any town in Europe...
But it did have a suicide pact with Calais <laugh>

Erith council actuslly passed a motion condemning her joke <laugh>
