The sooner we get a statue up to sir Steven Bruce the better.
Perfect world
We scrape through under warnock to the end of the season.
Brucey walks away from the geordies at the end of the season.
The allams or hopefully new owners install Sir Steven in as the new manager to continue the superb Work he started here.
The fans come flooding back
Happy Days amundo

These few lines from Buckingham are absolutely spot on - especially the bottom one.

''They were the side with discipline, control and bravery. All three of those qualities have abandoned City, who instead have become fragile and aimless.

Shoulders continue to sink lower across this injury-depleted group. Heads, too, drop at the first sign of adversity.

Stoke were like playground bullies, intimidating an opponent that had nowhere to turn for help.

“The biggest thing that’s hurt me is the fact is that we got outmuscled,” said McCann. “We got bullied. They got on top of us for a 10 or 15 minute spell and we couldn’t cope physically.”

City are certainly no dogs of war. Recruitment strategies have packed the squad with youth, gradually shedding all experience of this level in the last two seasons.

Young heads are now spinning, McCann’s included''

A final thought as well and not a happy one. For decades, our fans dreamed of seeing us play in the top division. 12 years after achieving that dream we had the opportunity to establish a legacy from finally achieving that dream. We may not have stayed in the Premier League, but could have yo-yoed between the top 2 divisions like WBA or Norwich. It's a travesty that we're now left with nothing to show from our time in the top division.

You have memories and a changed history to show for it. Same as every other football fan.

That article says nothing, nothing at all in terms of a viewpoint and opinion from Buckingham. Hard hitting journalism, not.
Pretty unfair. This was his match report,,not designed to be an opinion piece as such but even so he does comment on the lack of fight. I think we're pretty lucky to have Phil Buckingham as a local reporter. Feel he has called the team and the owners out quite a lot recently.

Oh fair enough if that was his match report, didn't realise that. Buckingham is good for sure, maybe we'll get a separate harder hitting opinion piece, not that it will make a blind bit of difference. I just want the Allams, and more quickly, McCann, gone. We're going down without a change. My business partner is a Charlton fan so that should be interesting.

I’d rather stick with what we’ve got.
