A stab in the dark here - Rod Stewart?
I'm assuming the player is Ian Bolton, who left us for Brentford - I seem to remember a Rod Stewart & Brentford connection...
The player is Ian Bolton, yes. Welcome back! He did go to Brentford. And then? And after that? Put it all together and what do you get? Refer to the original question, ie Blue, Magpie, Imp (on loan), Magpie, Hornet...

That’s it. Was a Blue, Magpie, Imp, Magpie, Hornet, Bee, Bee, King, Missioner, Saint.

Over to you, BB. Glad you got that one!
Cheers andy...

Keeping the football theme... Many Aussie players have plied their trade in the Premier League & Football League but not many have made the grade as managers/head coaches - only three in fact, and they were not what could be called successful.
Name them and the clubs they managed/coached.

Does Joe Montemurro count as he is the manager of Arsenal Ladies? I have the other two, but no doubt will have forgotten in a few hours. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

David Oldfield, Oxford Utd and Peterborough; Harry Kewell, Crawley Town and Notts County; John Harbin, Oldham Athletic and Coventry City.

I think!

Spot on. I had considered including Tony Popovic of Crystal Palace, but he didn't last too long as a caretaker from memory.
John Harbin was my first ever football coach in Queensland - an absolute fitness freak, his idea of pre-season training was to have us run up a sandy gully up the side of a 400 metre high hill. He always led the way up and always finished first

Over to you.

Thanks, BB. <ok>
