VAR was your best player yesterday, and even after it completely ruined the afternoon for 32,000 paying spectators, then gifted you a penalty no one had called for, you still needed a late blunder from our young RB to get three points.

I don’t mind you lot though, decent supporters on the whole, and always bring loads to St Mary’s, which is a long old schlepp from Newcastle.

Yes, I seriously am. From my position in The Chapel stand they were both abominations. I don’t care if, from someone else’s position on the settee, or Alan Shearer’s position in a studio, they were technically correct; VAR ruined that game yesterday.
