He's on a 12 month rolling contract, like Silva was. Either party can terminate the contract after 12 months, like Silva did.
Doesn't that mean he's always entitled to 12 months notice pay? Not 12 months then a new 12 months, but a rolling continuing 12 months.
Don't know the finer details but I'd have thought if you agree and sign a 12 month contract with an option to extend or terminate it at the end of those twelve months then you entitled to nothing, unless you extend the contract but are sacked before the next 12 months are complete.
A twelve month contract that can be terminated by either party at the end of twelve months, would simply be a 12 month contract. A rolling twelve month contract means it’s always got twelve months to run.
If results go to form today we'll be one place above the relegation spots by 5pm.
