you boxed for over a decade without being pitted against anyone by your trainer, so think you would lose a fist fight to girl personally.

  13. By the sounds of it, it was some drunken corporate hospitality outsider - probably a banker or something like that. Not even a Spurs fan.

That would definitely make Dier’s violent outburst easier to accept, for me.

It’ll also make visiting fans think twice before giving it large with any chanting, fearful that they will earn a slap from our new enforcer.

The club have a choice to punish either the player or the holder and participants of the corporate hospitality or all of them! Whatever happens the club is responsible for the player and for the sale of that corporate hospitality. For example as a season ticket holder, if I gave my ticket to someone who invaded the pitch, not only would the pitch invader be banned, but also my ST would be revoked from me. All terms and conditions are clearly published within the sale. The player is an employee, regardless of reason, he entered the terraces, not only did he enter the supporters area, he climbed to the top across the fixed seating, which also could have invalidated any personal liability insurance, by risking injury to himself or any third parties as a result of his actions. He also demonstrated aggressive behaviour as witnessed by a Spurs supporter, who commented he had completely lost it, and was like the Hulk! Also the failure of security to prevent said incident from happening. In so many words, Spurs have dropped a massive big bollock and they as well has the player could be punished for it.

...and that getting stuck in, would probably be represented under employment law as a case for instant dismissal :)
